Duties and Responsibilities

The marketing officer will be involved in marketing and publicity activities for the university. The officer’s duties will include the following:
 Effective communication in both formal and informal situations with colleagues at all levels within the university.
 Engaging appropriately with external contacts and representing the University in a positive way.
 Contributing to writing, editing, and proof-reading of University publications, flyers and web-based material.
Producing graphic material for the University.
 Producing material and updating the University website and social platforms.
 Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies for the University.
Conducting market research.
 Overseeing the coordination and organization of all public events linked to the University.
Attend University organised events and representing the university at events such as shows and career conferences or on external bodies and committees as appropriate.
Report writing and communication.

Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
Carrying any other duties as assigned by the Director, Marketing, Public and International Relations.

Qualifications and experience 

Applicants must have a minimum of a first degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or equivalent.

A Masters’ degree in the relevant fields and knowledge in graphic designing will be an added advantage. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
