1. Background

Zimbabwe Association of Church Related Hospitals (hereafter referred to as ZACH is supporting 7 Health Community Posts in Harare with the main objective of scaling up HIV case finding for men, adolescents, and children. To achieve this, ZACH conducts routine daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual data collection and analysis. IMPILO is the electronic health record (EHR) system being used by the Health Community Posts for routine data collection. The Impilo system requires 100% server uptime during working hours and for that reason a reliable, properly functioning and uninterrupted source of power is needed.

The specific facilities are at Mbare Methodist Church, Mbare Presbyterian Church, Siyaso, Gazaland Shopping Centre, Glen View, Mbudzi and at Kaguvi Street.

2. Bid information

ZACH invites bids from eligible bidders to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) of Bidders for the Supply and Fitting, Testing and Commissioning including warranty, Operation & Maintenance of Solar Systems to support Electronic Records Systems (eHR) at 7 community posts in Harare.

3. Submission of bids

Bidders should submit their bid proposals/applications along with all supporting documents complete in all aspects on or before 11.08.22 up to 16:30 Hrs through email. The email address is [email protected] and hard copies shall be submitted by 12.08.2022 till 15:00 hrs at the office of “ZACH” in the prescribed format. The Bidder must mark the envelope with the Bidder’s Name and Address and the Procurement Reference Number. The minimum period that the Bidder’s bid must remain valid is 30days from the deadline for the submission of bids.

4. Assessment visits

Bidders are allowed to undertake assessments visits to the 7 facilities on Wednesday 10.08.2022 between 1000hrs and 1500hrs

completion of work letter signed by both parties

Three evaluation variables (Compliance to specifications, bid price and delivery time) will be used. The bidder should indicate the lead time from receipt of order and contract signing to completion of the work.
